My “Woodland Wanderers” is a series of acrylic paintings on maple or walnut, and depict fable-like animals in the midst of a storybook adventure.

They are meant to evoke a sense of exploration, conservation and love for the natural world. However, each one is guarded somehow; wearing armor, cloaks, or carrying supplies with anthropomorphic hands.

Life is survival, and the wilds are dangerous.
